Seeing all these different pictures and how every bird is set to go different ways we can see that the way that we stretch the slingshot has an very important affection you achieving your goal in this game (killing the pigs). Determining the right direction as well as the speed of the bird. The stretch plays a big role in this game because the further back that you stretch the more speed that the bird will get and eventually hit its target with harder force.
As we can see here the bird is not being launched so we see that nothing is happening. There is no movement and we know that unless we stretch the slingshot the bird wont fly away.
In this picture we see that the player has angled the bird to fly out at a very high position.
