Forces

Gravity in Angry Bird World does exist. We know this because as the bird flies through the air we see that it slowly starts falling to the ground. Therefore we know that gravity does play a role in the Angry Bird World.

Air resistance doesn't seem to appear in Angry bird world because once the bird is launched it doesn't decrease its speed it keeps the same sped through the whole time it flies.

 The equation that I got from my experiment form Angry Birds trajectory line was:
y=-2.7*t^2+6.9t-9.5

Acceleration due to gravity "g":
With the given equation:  a=1/2g and given my "a" value which is -2.7 all we have to do to find "g" our gravity is substitute our value to our given equation:
a=1/2g
-2.7=1/2g

Since we want to solve for our "g" we need to have our "g" by its self. Just like in algebra we need to have our variables alone in order to find its value. Therefore in this case we would be dividing by 1/2 since we see that both 1/2 and "g" are being multiplied. Leaving us with:

-2.7/ 1/2 = g

OR

-2.7/.5 = g

Now for our final step all we have to do is simple math. Divide -2.7 by 1/2 to get our "g" value, which is:

-5.4 = g

OR

-5.4m/s^2

We can see that in Angry Birds World and on Earth there is different acceleration. In earth we have an acceleration of -9.8m/s^2 and from the data I collected doing this experiment the acceleration on ABW I got -5.4m/s^2. In my opinion I believe that the game's programmers did this because if they were to have the same acceleration as Earth it would affect the birds "movement" meaning while he is flying and perhaps also its mass.
